Westclox Projection alarm clock 70006 Review

We looked at several projection clocks on the internet before choosing this one.When we plugged it in, the projection was horrible!It had about a 3x3 red square that you couldn't even see the time.Then when we wrote the company about returning it, they first refused the return, saying we "damaged" the package.I would like to know how am I supposed to get the lousy clock out w/out even opening it?!?Finally they did accept the return and got the money back.
