I bought this for a family member who has impaired vision, and she loves it.The first one we ordered was defective and didn't ring (which is the whole point of a timer!).The second one worked perfectly and has a nice loud ring and easier to see dial.

The face is a full nine inches in diameter, with tactual numbers that are one inch high. Every five minute interval is marked with a raised line, and it has the longest ring (12 seconds) of any timer we've seen anywhere.
