I bought this small clock for my young granddaughters to use because they often sleep here on school nights.I got tired of being Bad Grandma who repeatedly reminds them to wake up and get ready.One large button below the clock face turns on and off the alarm -- couldn't be easier.Best of all, the alarm starts softly and grows louder with each beep so that none of us falls out of bed with alarm shock.When the top bar is pressed, the easy-to-read clock face lights for quick night-time peeks.In addition, the hands and face glow in the dark.If you need complete silence to sleep, be aware: there is an audible tick-tock but it doesn't bother the girls at all.It uses little space, keeps good time, is very easy to operate, and was an inexpensive and effective solution to our morning problems!
