3M PRECISION Clock Includes Calender,Alarm And Indoor & Outdoor Temperature 100` Range Review

This is one outstanding looking wall clock. The black frame is a high-gloss anti-static plastic that does not collect dust (even in my dusty office/shop) and the time/temp info can been seen from across the room.In terms of the auto setting mechanisim...let's just say it's a virtual miracle that it recieves a full strength signal (indicated by the icon above the time on the right hand side) from my very RF deprived location about 2' under grade at the ceiling!The remote outdoor temp sensor is great and has a digital readout so you can get the outdoor temp while you're outdoors or indoors from the remote display on the lower right of the clock face.

I can't imagine what the initial reviewer had done (use old/degraded batteries?) that gave such poor lifetimes, but the outdoor unit AND the indoor display have been going strong for over a year on a new set of Energizer AA's...perhaps they had an old model or otherwise defective unit...I guess I can 'imagine' a few reasons ;-)

Anyway, I highly recommend this clock as I'm here to buy a second one for my home theater...we'll see how well it stands up to high dB bass waves!
