I bought this because I can't see the time at night from across my bedroom (no bedstand).The projection is perfect, larger than any clock you can get on the market.The farther you place it from the ceiling - the larger the display.NOTE!I own the blue one - I've read elsewhere that the blue and red version have a dark mask around the lcd projection - so the clock itself doesn't glow at night.The clear clock doesn't have this mask so it acts more like a NIGHTLIGHT on top of the ceiling projection.Take this into account when picking your color!
